Medicine Hat Tigers facing Swift Current in the first round of WHL playoffs

The Medicine Hat Tigers will this week kick off their playoff campaign against the Swift Current Broncos.

Tickets will go on sale at 12 p.m. for Friday’s match at Tixx.ca and in-person at the box office.

The first two games of the best-of-seven first-round series will take place at Co-op Place.

The Tigers will then head to Swift Current for games on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Should the series extend past four games, Medicine Hat is scheduled to play host to the Broncos for the fifth and seventh games.

The Tigers secured the home-ice advantage for the opening playoff series with a pair of crucial wins over the weekend.

It marks the first Central Division crown for the Tigers since the 2017-18 season and their first conference title since the 2006-07 season.
