Brooks RCMP stop driver driving the wrong way on Highway 26

Brooks RCMP say they stopped a driver headed the wrong way southbound on Highway 26.

Police say they received a report of a possible impaired driver on March 17.

Officers found the vehicle and, after observing it driving in the opposite lane, conducted a traffic stop.

The driver showed no signs of impairment but didn’t have a valid driver’s license, police report.

Officers issued a ticket for driving without a supervisor and another for failing to maintain their lane.
