Province hosting Budget 2025 town halls for southern Albertans

The Alberta government is hosting a pair of online town halls on its proposed 2025 budget.

Participants can learn more about the multimillion-dollar budget and have their questions answered.

The first will be on the topic of “Investing in education” and focus on Calgary and southern Alberta.

It will feature Education Minister Demetrios Nicolaides and Advanced Education Minister Rajan Sawhney.

That town hall takes place Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The other meeting, scheduled for Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. will delve into the topics of “workforce and economy.”

Participants can hear from the following government ministers:

  • Minister of Jobs, Economy and Trade Matt Jones
  • Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation RJ Sigurdson
  • Minister of Advanced Education Rajan Sawhney
  • Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism Muhammad Yaseen
  • Minister of Technology and Innovation Nate Glubish
  • Minister of Transportation and Economic Corridors Devin Dreeshen
