Shelby Benedetto, teacher at AMS, said that they’re super excited to have audiences in.

“The kids have been working extremely hard to get it up and running,” she said.

“It’s a student centered show. So they run the entire thing, which is awesome,” she added.

“Learning lots behind the scenes. It’s an incredible experience.”

Max Stremel, a student of AMS who is playing ‘Scarecrow’ from The Wizard of Oz, said that he’s not worried at all about the shows.

“We’ve got this,” he said.

“If we mess up, it just becomes part of the show. Like, we know how to mess up now. We’ve practiced it,” he added.

“I have no doubt at all, so everybody should be excited.”

Benedetto said that the students have been working on the production since October.

She said that everyone’s been doing their part; including dancers, actors, and those working behind the scenes.

“The students have been working tirelessly,” she said.

Tickets are available online or at the door.
