The cold continues this weekend.

The high on Friday will be -14 C, Saturday will peak at -12 C with forecasted snow and Sunday will bring -15 C.

Here is what’s on in Medicine Hat and area this weekend.

❄️ Winter bottle drive

Prairie Pride Guild’s winter bottle drive is taking place from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Big Marble Go Centre on Saturday.

The guild’s representatives will be outside in the parking lot, close to the outdoor soccer fields, and will have hot chocolate on hand.

The drive will raise money for its 2025 events, according to an event page.

🐅 Tigers at home

The Medicine Hat Tigers take on the Swift Current Broncos at Co-op Place at 7 p.m. Saturday.

It will be the second half of a home-at-home double header.

Tickets are available via the box office or online.

Tune in listen live on Wild 94.5 radio with voice of the Tigers Will Bryant.

🛼 Roller derby

Team Saskatchewan will take on two teams in the Jolly Holiday Bangover Roller Derby.

The derby gets underway at 9 a.m. on Sunday at the Medicine Hat Exhibition and Stampede grounds.

The provincial squad will take on the world invitational team and the Calgary All-Stars.

There will also be a public exhibition game known as Naughty vs Nice 2024ish.
