Christmas dinners around Medicine Hat – so nobody celebrates alone

Several locations throughout Medicine Hat will be providing their own Christmas dinners for anybody in need.

Salvation Army

The Salvation Army Resource Centre is having a holiday meal on Dec. 20 at 5 p.m.

The dinner will be upstairs. It is advised that the main entrance be used, at the Fifth Avenue Memorial United Church.

The Mustard Seed

The Mustard Seed will hold a dinner on Dec. 24. It will be available from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Christmas stockings will also be handed out.

The Impact and Wellness Centres will be closed on Dec. 25.

United Way

The United Way Spirit of Christmas Dinner will be taking place at the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub.

It is the 11th annual dinner, sponsored by the United Way of South Eastern Alberta.

Doors will open at 4 p.m on Dec. 25.

Kiwanis

The Kiwanis Christmas Dinner will require pre-registration by Dec. 13. Forms are available at the Veiner Centre.
