RCMP’s annual ‘Stuff the Cruiser’ campaign on now at Redcliff Family Foods

The Redcliff RCMP is asking its town’s residents as well as Medicine Hat to take part in the Stuff the Cruiser campaign.

Donations can be brought to Redcliff Family Foods to fill the police cruiser on Dec. 18, from 12 p.m.-6 p.m.

“You can bring food donations, non-perishable items, toilet paper, diapers,” Staff Sergeant Michael Courty told CHAT News.

“Anything that families would need. As well, we accept cash donations.”

All proceeds and donations will go towards the Root Cellar Food and Wellness Hub.

Courty said that the cruiser itself is not the limit, and serves as a physical gauge of donation amounts.

The police cruiser can be filled as many times as need be, depending on quantities that are contributed.

Donations can be dropped off at the Redcliff RCMP detachment if provided beforehand, or Redcliff Family Foods as well.

This will be the fourth annual Stuff the Cruiser event.
