Quinlan at Sun City Ford wins Alberta Dealer of Excellence Award

A dealer and managing partner at a Medicine Hat vehicle dealership has won a provincial award.

Pat Quinlan with Sun City Ford is the 2024 recipient of the Alberta Dealer of Excellence (Non-Metro) Award.

A ceremony was held on Thursday afternoon at the dealership to recognized Quinlan on the accomplishment.

He has been in the auto industry for 32 years, all at Ford dealerships, including the last 8 years at Sun City Ford as the dealer and managing partner.

Quinlan says there is an incredible team at the dealership that helped him achieve this honour.

“It’s pretty humbling, but pretty overwhelming as well,” Quinlan said.

“When you work your whole life in an industry, and when you see that all the people that you’re involved with and how they’ve impacted you, and then when that is all recognized, it’s pretty awesome.”

The award is given on business acumen, community involvement, and association and industry involvement with candidates nominated by association members, and selected by a panel of past winners.

One metro dealer for Calgary or Edmonton was also an award recipient.
