Medicine Hat Tigers Liam Ruck wins WHL Rookie of the Week

Medicine Hat Tigers forward Liam Ruck is the WHL Rookie of the Week for the weekend ending Sunday, Dec. 8.

The Western Hockey League announced Ruck as the winner on Monday.

The 16-year old Ruck had three goals and an assists for four points in three games over the week.

Ruck has 13 points with eight goals and five assists on the season over 23 games.

The 2008-born forward is tied for fifth in goals among all first-year WHL players.
