Medicine Hat Tigers in Lethbridge taking on the Hurricanes

The Medicine Hat Tigers are back in action tonight in Lethbridge taking on a familiar foe in the Highway 3 rivalry with the Hurricanes.

This is the second of eight meetings between the two clubs this season, with the Hurricanes winning the first contest 7-6 in Lethbridge.

It will be a Teddy Bear toss game for the Hurricanes, with the Tigers having its on Saturday night at Co-op Place.

On a three game winning streak heading into the contest, the Tigers remain at the top of the Western Hockey League’s Central Division with 16 wins, 11 losses, and one overtime loss, good enough for 33 points.

The Hurricanes are in fourth in the same division with 13 wins, 10 losses, with one overtime loss, and one shootout loss for 28 points in three less games than the Tigers.

Will Bryant will have the pre-game on Wild 94.5 starting at 6:45pm with puck drop going at 7 p.m. at the VisitLethbridge.com arena.
