Medicine Hat firefighters running high-rise training at Mayfair Manor

Medicine Hat Fire and Emergency Services will be conducting high-rise training at Mayfair Manor starting at 1:30 p.m., officials say.

This training is part of the fire department’s regular efforts to make sure firefighters are prepared for various emergency incidents.

Emergency services has requested the public to avoid the area, if possible, until approximately 5:30 p.m.

“Thank you to Mayfair Manor and Avenue Living for providing the opportunity to use their facilities,” the emergency services said in a post to social media.
