Redcliff man killed in highway crash

A multi-vehicle pile up on the Trans Canada Highway near Cluny claimed the life of a Redcliff man.
Mounties say the 51 year old was alone in his vehicle and was the only person injured in the mishap, which happened shortly before 10:30 yesterday morning in the westbound lanes near Cluny.
It took about six hours to tow all the vehicles from the crash site and re-open the highway.
Poor road conditions during a snowstorm are considered to be a factor in this mishap.
