Call for volunteers for Medicine Hat poppy campaign

Friday marks the start of the annual Poppy Campaign for the Royal Canadian Legion.

Boxes were being distributed across many routes in Medicine Hat this morning.

As well, the Robertson Memorial Branch Number 17 is in need of volunteers to work at their tables between now and November 11.

Cadets cover the weekend shifts, but there are openings to sell poppies at tables in the Medicine Hat Mall and Canadian Tire.

Various shifts are available.

Volunteers are needed for all shifts at the Medicine Hat Mall table on November 5, 6 and 7.

Shifts start at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 and 3 p.m.

Volunteers are also needed for the first shift of the day at 10:30 in the morning at Canadian Tire all next week.
