Medicine Hat Tigers Meneghin named WHL Goaltender of the Week

Back to back wins last week has earned Medicine Hat Tigers goaltender Harrison Meneghin the WHL Goaltender of the Week award.

Meneghin picked up a shutout in a 3-0 win over the Red Deer Rebels on Wednesday, following it up by only allowing one goal in a 6-1 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday.

Over the two wins Meneghin had a 0.50 goals-against average, and a .978 save percentage.

The Tigers made a trade with the Lethbridge Hurricanes to acquire Meneghin on Oct. 5.

The Tigers’ recent success puts their record back at even after several early losses against the Rebels.
