High school students issued bylaw ticket after Medicine Hat grocery store dispute

Police responded to a dispute involving high school students that recently occurred at Medicine Hat’s Safeway grocery store on Division Avenue South.
The individuals involved were issued a ticket under the public safety bylaw, a spokesperson for the Medicine Hat Police Service told CHAT News on Tuesday.
That’s after a post last week on social media described an incident where a high school student was yelling at a Safeway employee.
Police arrived at the scene soon after, the user wrote. Their account was not independently verified.
