Medicine Hat labour hosting food drive for those that need it most

The Medicine Hat and District Labour Council wants to help those that need it most.

It’s hosting a Labour Day food drive on Monday for non-perishable items only.

That runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Real Canadian Superstore.

With insecurity on the rise, the labour council wants to help the community.

One in five households in Alberta experience food insecurity, according to Alberta Health Services data.
