Town of Bow Island officials say water safe for use despite discolouration

The Town of Bow Island is assuring residents that their tap water remains safe to drink and use despite discolouration.

The discolouration is due to an alteration in the intake of the town’s water source, authorities said in a statement Tuesday.

The town is making progress at the water plant and the issue is expected to be resolved within the next one to two days, officials said.
