Busy arterial road reopens after injury accident in Medicine Hat

An injury car accident caused the closure of a busy arterial road in southeast Medicine Hat early on Friday morning.

The traffic unit has completed its work and the road has since been reopened to motorists.

Medicine Hat Police Service closed Strachan Road Southeast from 13th Avenue to Sprague Way shortly after the mishap around 10:30 p.m. last night.

Investigators were waiting for the sun to rise to allow them to take additional pictures of the crash scene.

There’s no information about the crash itself.
