Environment Canada has several thunderstorm warnings in place this morning, as a line of storms stretches from near Lethbridge to 20 kilometers north of Etzikom.

The line of storm is nearly stationary and is capable of producing heavy downpours that could result in flash floods and water pooling on roads.

Severe thunderstorm warnings are posted for areas along Highway 3 from Lethbridge , to Taber and to Etzikom, Maleb and Foremost in the County of Forty Mile.

Environment Canada is also maintaining a heat warning, noting that daytime temperatures in Western Canada over the next six days are expected to range between 28 and 36 degrees over that time span.
