Medicine Hat Tigers 2024-25 season schedule released

Jun 25, 2024 | 11:53 AM

The full schedule for the Western Hockey League’s 2024-2025 regular season was released on Tuesday.

The Medicine Hat Tigers open the 2024-25 campaign with a home game against the Edmonton Oil Kings on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Start times for home games at Co-op Place will be at 7 p.m. with the exception of Family Day on Feb. 17, 2025, with a 2 p.m. start.

The annual Teddy Bear Toss game is set to be held on Dec. 7 with Fan Appreciation Night will take place on Saturday, March 22.

The most noticable change for the Tigers this year is seeing the rival Swift Current Broncos moving back from the Central to the Eastern Divison, resulting in the Tigers only playing the Broncos four times this season, with each team hosting two games.

Nine regular season and two preseason games were played between the Tigers and Broncos last season.

The Tigers will host teams from the B.C. Division this season after travelling their last season.

The U.S. Division teams won’t make their way to Co-op Place this season as it’s the Tigers turn to head on a six game American road trip with those contests between Jan. 24 and Feb. 1.

The complete regular season schedule can be viewed on the Tigers website.

Tigers pre-season starts on the road Sept. 3 with a trip down the number three highway to take on the Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Hurricanes return for a pre-season game against the Tigers on Sept. 15.

The first pre-season game at Co-op Place is slated for Sept. 7 with the Calgary Hitmen in town.
