Suspects in custody after Medicine Hat police respond to weapons complaint

Two suspects are in custody after Medicine Hat police responded to a weapons complaint in the Crescent Heights area on Tuesday.

Police received a report that an altercation had occurred at a residence located in the 400 Block of 19th Street Northeast, police said in a statement.

It was reported that some of the people involved in the altercation had left the area in a vehicle.

MHPS patrol members conducted a high-risk vehicle stop on the Maple Avenue bridge, taking a male and a female into custody.
