Alberta NDP leadership frontrunner visiting Medicine Hat

Naheed Nenshi, a former three-term Calgary mayor and presumed frontrunner in the race to lead the Alberta NDP, is holding a town hall in Medicine Hat on Wednesday evening.

The event is taking place at the Monarch Theatre. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the town hall gets underway at 6:30 p.m.

Attendees can expect to hear Nenshi’s vision for Alberta, have the opportunity to share their views and be able to ask questions, organizers said.

A spokesperson for Nenshi’s campaign told CHAT News that 350 people have registered to attend as of Tuesday afternoon.
