Paranormal Cirque entertains Medicine Hat all weekend, blending the circus with horror

May 24, 2024 | 8:00 PM

Paranormal Cirque is taking over Medicine Hat this weekend.

The spooky circus is in Canada for the first time ever, featuring performers from all over the world.

Contortionist Benjamin Holland said it’s a show that merges the circus with horror.

“I think it’s an experience like no other and I think there’s no real replacement for something like it,” Holland said.

Holland highlighted some of the performances attendees can expect to see, including a magician, a motorcycle on a wire and a lady who hangs from her hair in the air.

“It’s a whole cornucopia of fun,” Holland added.

Paranormal Cirque takes place in the parking lot of the Medicine Hat Mall until May 26.

Those under 17 years of age must be accompanied by an adult age 21 or older.
