Medicine Hat Interpretive Program hosting ‘Bird Nerds’ walk Saturday

The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is hosting a bird identification walk on Saturday.

The Bird Nerds 101 Identification Walk will run 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Police Point Park.

Attendees will learn practical bird identification skills while exploring the park’s ecosystem.

It will be hosted by park interpreter and “one of Medicine Hat’s most prolific birders”, organizers said.

Participants are invited to bring their own binoculars and bird identification books, if possible.
