Wide load holds up traffic on Hwy 1 en route to Dunmore

A wide load made its way down Highway 1 from Redcliff through Medicine Hat on its way to Dunmore early Tuesday afternoon.

The Medicine Hat Police Service and Redcliff Bylaw conducted an over-dimensional load escort starting at 11 a.m.

The load will be travelling from the west Redcliff limits on Highway 1 to the east limits of Dunmore on Highway 1, according to police.

Traffic will be affected on Trans Canada Highway 1 and in the Southwest Industrial area of Medicine Hat due to counterflowing of the over dimensional load, police said.
