Southern Alberta community blasted with 46 cm of snow, Medicine Hat spared
Part of the region received some 1.5 feet of snowfall on Tuesday and a snowfall warning remains in effect.
Environment Canada says heavy snow fell over sections of southwestern Alberta from Monday evening to Tuesday morning.
The area southwest of Millarville, located in Foothills County south of Calgary, saw a total of 46 centimetres of snow.
The weather agency also noted the snowfall amounts in three other nearby communities.
