The Medicine Hat Public Library accepted a $1,125 cheque from the Medicine Hat Potter’s Association on Thursday as part of the Clay It Forward fundraiser supporting the Honeycomb House.
The Honeycomb House in the Medicine Hat Public Library is a seven month old area of the library, a dedicated teen space, allowing them an area to interact with each other. It includes video game consoles, televisions, computers, board games and more.
The Clay It Forward fundraiser raised money through 17 pottery collaboration being auctioned off at a variety of businesses around the Medicine Hat area.
Additional funds will still be raised as two pieces of pottery located within the library are still up for bid
