Alberta RCMP warning against mass marketing and phone scams

Alberta RCMP is participating in Alberta Community Crime Prevention Association’s Fraud Prevention Month.

Mounties are sharing information and resources to help you protect yourself from mass marketing and phone scams like fraudulent telemarketers, mass mail outs and work from home scams.

They are sharing tips to remind residents to not provide any personal information to unknown callers, learn the warning signs of caller ID, email, and website spoofing, and to keep in mind you have a right to say no to any questions.
