Third session of closed Medicine Hat council meeting ongoing at city hall

A closed session of Medicine Hat council is currently ongoing at city hall, a continuation of a meeting that has now started three times in two days.

Council held a closed session before and after the regular open council meeting Monday night.

The second session adjourned just before 9 p.m. Monday and was scheduled to reconvene at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.

The public will only be able to attend the open part of the meeting that takes place at the beginning before it shifts into closed and after the closed section when it shifts into public.

If council passed any motions, it will be done in the public part of the meeting that takes place after the private session.

There were three items listed for the closed meeting agenda: a legal proceedings update, a resident concern and an information request.
