Charges laid after random bear spray attacks in Medicine Hat

Three people are facing charges, including two youths, after a Medicine Hat police investigation into random attacks involving bear spray.
Two of those attacks were in December and the other was in January.
In each case, victims were sprayed as they were walking.
None of them suffered lasting physical effects from the bear spray.
A 19-year-old male, a 17-year-old and 15-year-old are facing multiple charges.
