Car crashes into restaurant

MEDICINE HAT — Police and Fire crews responded to an accident at the Park Lane Motel early this morning

A black pickup truck collided with a corner of the Green Room Restaurant at the motel.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle at the time and their condition is unknown.

Initial investigation suggests that the driver may have suffered a medical emergency that caused the driver to accelerate to a high speed and collide with the building.

City crews have the area blocked off for cleanup and structural and asbestos testing.
