Gavin McKenna and Team Canada Red medal hopes dashed

CHARLOTTETOWN & SUMMERSIDE, PEI – The Medicine Hat Tigers’ Gavin McKenna and Team Canada Red have lost the quarter final game at the World U17 Hockey Challenge. Team Canada White defeated Red on Thursday 3-2 in overtime.

Since starting the tournament Nov. 2, McKenna has collected five goals and two assists. This matched the Victoria Royals Cole Reschny in most points on Team Canada Red.

Team Red will play Finland for fifth place at 9:55 a.m. MST.
