Tigers complete B.C. road swing with tough loss

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — Things were going well for the Medicine Hat Tigers as they faced the final 5 or so minutes of the last game on a 5 game B.C. road trip.

Leading 5-4, the Tigers were penalized and the Cougars power play went to work.

They scored with 5:10 to play to tie the game.

Then they scored again, twice, in a span of 51 seconds, to hand the Tigers a 7-5 defeat.

The Cougars last two goals came at with 1:17 and 26 seconds to play in the game.

Cayden Lindstrom had two goals for Medicine Hat with single markers from Hunter St. Martin, Rhett Parsons and Shane Smith.

The Tigers won 3 of the 5 games on the B.C. road trip.

They are back at Co-op Place Friday to host Edmonton, and Seattle will visit on Saturday.
