RCMP livestock investigators probing discovery of remains of two cows

TURNER VALLEY, AB. — Members of the RCMP Livestock Investigations Unit are investigating after the carcasses of two cows were found in an area of McLean Creek.
They had been dumped after being slaughtered.
Photos show the livestock brands on the left shoulder of both cows were tampered with prior to the cows being improperly disposed of.
The carcasses were found on Tuesday October 17.
