Another Calgary youth arrested in ongoing national security investigation by RCMP
CALGARY – A 15-year-old has been arrested by police for terrorism-related offences.
Police say the teen, who can’t be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been released with conditions, pending the outcome of a Terrorism Peace Bond application, and is scheduled to be back in court on Nov. 6.
RCMP say in a statement that the 15-year-old is the third Calgarian to be charged in an ongoing national security investigation.
Twenty-year-old Zakarya Rida Hussein was charged in June with two counts of facilitating terrorist activity and two counts of participating in or contributing to an activity of a terrorist group.
