City closing water stations for the season

MEDICINE HAT, AB – The City of Medicine Hat’s seasonal water bottle fill stations will be removed next week.

The public water bottle fill stations will be taken down starting Monday as the weather begins to cool.

There were 10 stations installed for 2023 including downtown, in parks and along the city’s trail system.

Last year the stations, built onto existing fire hydrants, delivered the equivalent of 118,000 one-litre bottles of water to thirsty residents and pets.
