CP NewsAlert: Helicopter crashes in central B.C.

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — A helicopter has crashed east of Prince George, B.C.

RCMP say there were multiple people aboard when the chopper went down near Purden Ski Hill.

Police say the extent of the injuries to those on board is not known.

Mounties say the call came in just before 8 a.m.

Anyone driving past that area is being asked to give emergency crews room to work by slowing down.
