Medicine Hat man killed in Saskatchewan highway crash
ROSETOWN, SK – A Medicine Hat senior is dead following a collision on a Saskatchewan highway on Monday.
Rosetown RCMP say they received a report of the collision west of the village of Tessier at about 1:20 p.m. Tessier is on Highway 7 about 70 kilometres southwest of Saskatoon and 50 kilometres northwest of Rosetown.
Initial investigation has determined a westbound semi and an eastbound SUV collided.
The male driver of the SUV was declared dead at the scene. His family has been notified. RCMP say the sole passenger of the SUV was taken to hospital with injuries described as serious.
