Stampede pancake breakfasts start this week

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Hatters flip for pancakes during Stampede Week. This year the flipping starts even before Stampede Week.

There are nine pancake breakfasts listed in the official Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede guide and at least one more that’s not in that guide.

Traditional pancake breakfasts at the 13th Avenue South Country Co-op and Medicine Hat Lodge are back. Newer breakfasts like those at Homestead Market and Medicine Hat Brewing Company are also part of the official list, which is below.

A special Pupcake Stampede Breakfast (dog safe) is at Crossroads Animal Hospital and will raise money for the local SPCA. It is from 9 a.m. to noon on July 26

• July 24: Be. Gluten Free, 7-10 a.m. (first 500 people)
• July 24: Medicine Hat College, 8-10 a.m.
• July 25: Hillcrest Church, 7-10 a.m.
• July 26: Medicine Hat Lodge, 7-10 a.m.
• July 26: Best Western Premier, 7-10 a.m.
• July 27: Earls, 7-10 a.m.
• July 28: 13th Avenue South Country Co-op, 7-10 a.m.
