Echo Dale swim lake opens Saturday

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Relief is coming for those trying to stay cool amid the summer’s heat.

The swim lake at Echo Dale Regional Park will open this Saturday.

The lake will be open to the public between 11 a.m.-7 p.m., reads a news release from the City of Medicine Hat.

The city announced in May that swim lake would open later than normal due to repairs needed to the liner in the boat lake.

Repairs are still underway in the boat lake which is expected to open in late August.
