MEDICINE HAT, AB – June has arrived, and with it, the energy rates released by the City of Medicine Hat.
Rates for natural gas and electricity have gone up since May. June’s natural gas default regulated rate is $3.363 per gigajoule, which is up from May’s $2.249 per gigajoule. The city said in a statement that the rate is based on the average of the monthly gas charges by Alberta gas distribution.
