Police seek help in identifying potential suspect in Tuesday arson

MEDICINE HAT, AB – An arson that occurred early Tuesday morning has Medicine Hat police seeking help from the public. Police are asking the public to help identify a potential suspect in the arson.
Police and fire crews were dispatched around 3:40 a.m. Tuesday morning following reports of a recreational trailer on fire at a property on Day Street SE. Upon arrival, the trailer was completely engulfed in flames, signs of other attempted ignitions were evident on the property. Damages totaled around $23,000.
A male was observed on camera at the scene and is described as Caucasian, in his early-mid 20s, wearing black pants with cargo pockets, a white ‘Vans’ short sleeve t-shirt (with a Grim Reaper holding three boxes of pizza depicted on the back), white hoodie, cream coloored Chuck Taylor high-top shoes and a black Carhartt ball cap.
The Medicine Hat Police Service is continuing to investigate the incident and asks that if any one has information that can lead to identification of the suspect to contact them at 403-529-8481 or to submit info through their website.
