R-C-M-P in Alberta say a semi truck hit a police car yesterday while an officer was conducting a traffic stop.
Police say the crash occurred on Highway 2 north of Stavely, which is about 110 kilometres south of Calgary.
They say an R-C-M-P officer was standing at the driver’s-side door of a vehicle he had pulled over when a tractor-trailer hit the police car.
Police say the officer received minor injuries as a result of flying debris.
