Brooks RCMP investigating hit and run involving a bicycle

BROOKS, AB. — Mounties in Brooks are asking for help from the public, after a hit and run involving a bicycle.

It happened about 6:30 last night, and involved a dark blue or black coloured car.

Police say it was leaving a parking lot when it struck a cyclist.

This vehicle then fled the area around 8 Avenue West and 3 Street West in Brooks.

The cyclist was transported to Brooks Health Center with non life threatening injuries.
