Apr 13, 2023 | 10:10 AM

MEDICINE HAT, AB – Eight community and business leaders have been nominated for the 2023 Inspire Award that will be presented at the Women in Business Inspire Luncheon.

The local group says the award formally recognizes female community members who have gone above and beyond to mentor, encourage and inspire others.

“Each year the Women in Business Committee receives nominations for women who have overcome obstacles, mentored and inspired others, and accomplished great achievements,” reads a release from the Women in Business Committee of Medicine Hat.

“This year we have received nominations for some truly inspiring women, and our independent review committee has a tough decision to make to choose the 2023 Inspire Award winner out of these eight amazing, accomplished nominees.”

The luncheon on June 2 will also feature a panel of local businesswomen sharing the inspirational stories behind their professional careers. It represents the Women in Business committee’s vision to give women a chance to meet, learn from, recognize and be inspired by other women in the community.
