MEDICINE HAT, AB – Every statutory holiday comes with some changes to operating hours for public facilities and businesses and also some special events. We’ve compiled a few of them ahead of the Easter long weekend.
City Hall, Crestwood Rec Centre and Big Marble Go Centre will be closed for Good Friday. Crestwood and Big Marble will return to regular hours on Saturday. There will also be no transit on Good Friday.
A spring break scavenger hunt is taking place at the Medicine Hat Public Library on Saturday. It starts at noon in the children’s library. There will be 9 spring bunnies to be found that are dressed as book characters and prizes available.
And starting at 2 p.m. the library will show the movie Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway Rabbit will be showing in the theatre.
