MEDICINE HAT, AB – Concerns about mental health are prevalent throughout the community, including in our youth.

A partnership between local schools and support service Our Collective Journey aims to help students and even branch that help out to their families.

Tara Schneider-Pichette, program manager at Our Collective Journey, and Mark Davidson, superintendent of Medicine Hat Public School Division, joined Dan Reynish on CHAT News at Noon to talk about the role recovery coaches play in Our Collective Journey’s program, the need to talk at younger ages about addictions and mental health and how young people are doing overall.
