Cubs looking for quick response in playoffs
MEDICINE HAT, AB – Falling down two games to none in a best-of-seven playoff series is detrimental for any team. The Medicine Hat Cubs are looking to avoid that scenario on Friday.
After dropping game one of their playoff series to the Cochrane Generals by a score of 6-5 at home on Tuesday, Medicine Hat has a chance at redemption on Friday night.
They’re looking to split their home games before heading to Cochrane for Games 3 and 4.
“You really need that Game 2,” said Cubs head coach and GM Randy Wong on Friday. “Going into Cochrane tied in the series is not a bad thing.”
