REGINA, SK – The Medicine Hat Tigers ran into the buzzsaw that is Connor Bedard on Wednesday.

Matching his season-high of six points, Bedard and his Regina Pats dumped the Tigers 6-3.

The Tabbies fell behind early but stayed close, trailing the Pats 3-1 after 40 minutes. The eventual game-winner came seven seconds into the final frame off the stick of Tanner Howe. The teams traded goals in the third.

Hunter St. Martin, Oasiz Weisblatt and Bogdans Hodass found the back of the next for Tigers.

Across three meetings this season Bedard has factored on every goal the Pats have scored against the Tigers this season. He scored once and added five assists last night to go along with the four goals and one assist in two earlier losses. The Tigers won 6-4 in January and 5-1 earlier this month.

The Tigers start a four-game homestand on Saturday against the Co-op Blazers.
