MEDICINE HAT, AB – Crews will be cutting back trees on one of Medicine Hat’s oldest roads this week.
On Feb. 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., First Street SW will be closed from Division Avenue to Second Avenue will be temporarily closed for tree pruning, says the City of Medicine Hat in a news release.
The city says area residents will have access to their driveways and homes but no through traffic or street parking will be permitted. Crews will try to provide necessary access as quickly as possible, however residents may experience minor delays.
The city says any local traffic should take extra care and attention as this will be an active worksite for the duration of the project and asks people not enter the work area without clearance from the crews on site.
